By booking or using our car transfer and tour services, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the relationship between Horizon Stars (“we,” “us,” “our”) and the customer (“you,” “your”).

1. General Terms

1.1. Horizon Stars provides car transfers and guided tours worldwide for individuals and groups.
1.2. All bookings are subject to availability, and confirmation will be provided via email or other agreed communication methods.
1.3. By booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1. Reservations: All reservations must be made through our website, email, or authorized agents.

2.2. Payment: Horizon Stars LLC will put an authorization hold on your credit card with the full amount of the booking. Your credit card will be charged at the time of confirmation, after your ride is completed, or if a late cancellation occurs.
We do not have access to view your full card details at any time. By providing your card information, you agree to our terms and conditions and authorize us to charge your card for the agreed-upon amount. Your card will remain on file for any additional charges or refunds, which will be processed promptly if applicable. If you have any questions or concerns about your charges, please contact us via email.
*You will see Horizon Stars LLC on your credit card statement.

2.3. Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other methods as specified on our website.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1. Customer Cancellations:

Standard transfers (under 2 hours / under 200KM)
Cancel within:
– 24 hours or more: 100% refund
– 24 hours or less: No refund
– No Show: No refund

Long/custom transfers, day tours, “as directed,” “dispo,” and boat tours (over 2 hours / 200KM or more)
Cancel within:
– 6 Days or more: 100% refund
– 4–5 Days: 50% refund
– 3 Days or less: No refund
– No Show: No refund

Airport Greeter Services
Cancel within:
– 2 Days or more: 100% refund
– 48–24 hours: 50% refund
– 24 hours or less: No refund
– No Show: No refund

*Special cancellation terms may apply for events and will be advised at the time of booking.
*Buses / Custom Tours – cancellation policy as outlined per booking.

3.2. Company Cancellations: Horizon Stars reserves the right to cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances. A full refund or alternative arrangement will be offered. We are not responsible for force majeure events beyond our control.

3.3. No-shows: No refunds will be provided.

4. Transfer and Tour Policies

4.1. Punctuality: Be ready 10 minutes before pickup time.
4.2. Delays: 15-minute grace period. Charges apply for extra time.

Grace Period / Wait Time:
– Airport Pick-up: 60 minutes after landing.
– Others: 15 minutes after scheduled time.
– Extra Time: $1 per minute.

4.3. Vehicle & Luggage:

  • Sedan (1–3 pax): 2 large + 2 small suitcases OR 3 medium
  • Minivan (1–7 pax): 6 large + 4 small OR 6 medium + 6 small
  • Minivan (1–8 pax): 8 large + 4 small OR 8 medium + 8 small
  • Luxury Limo (1–3 pax): 1 large + 2 carry-ons OR 3 medium
  • Minibuses: specs vary

Suitcases go in the trunk by law. Excess luggage may require extra vehicle and cost.

4.4. Child Safety: Car seats required for children under 12. Request in advance.

5. Customer Responsibilities

5.1. Provide accurate information.
5.2. Behave respectfully.
5.3. No smoking or alcohol in vehicles.
5.4. Follow local laws.
5.5. You are liable for damages, sanitation fees, or fines. Illegal behavior or standing through the sunroof may result in service termination without refund.

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1. Vehicles meet safety and insurance regulations.
6.2. We are not liable for delays or lost property.
6.3. Legal compliance ensured.
6.4. Full insurance provided.
6.5. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
6.6. Assumption of Risk: You accept risks related to travel, outdoor activities, or wildlife.
6.7. You release us from liability except in cases of gross negligence.

7. Special Requests

Must be communicated at booking. Not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for disruptions due to natural disasters, strikes, or other uncontrollable events.

9. Flight Tracking

9.1. We track flights and adjust pickup accordingly. Delays over 2 hours may affect availability.
9.2. We cannot guarantee service for diverted flights.
9.3. No-shows due to flight diversion are non-refundable.
9.4. Failure to communicate flight changes releases us from responsibility.

10. Collaboration and Replacement Vehicles

10.1. We may work with trusted partners.
10.2. Replacement vehicles of equal or higher standard will be provided when needed at no extra charge.

11. Electronic Communications

11.1. Legal communications may be sent via email.
11.2. You must ensure your contact info is correct and monitored.

12. Privacy Policy

12.1. We only use your personal data to deliver our services.
12.2. Booking with us implies consent to our Privacy Policy.

13. Amendments to Terms

We may change these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and apply to future bookings.
